A missional community is different than just a bible study. A missional community is a family of servant witnesses sent on mission by God as disciples who make disciples. MCs (as we call them) study the Bible together, spend time together with those who don't Jesus, and give back to their community together. If this is a new type of group to you, don't worry! Most groups are learning and growing in doing each of these.
Every missional community identifies a group of people whom they believe God is sending them to love, serve, and share Jesus with. It could be a neighborhood or network of relationships. Some choose to love and serve local schools, while others will identify people they already are in regular relationship with. We want to see every place where we live, work, learn and play blessed by God's people on God's mission.
Missional Community Cohort
In January 2023 we will be launching the Missional Community Cohort. It will be a 14-week commitment to learn about what it means to live out our identity as family, missionary and servant.
During the cohort you will gain valuable tools in your journey as a follower of Jesus in the ONE SIX EIGHT (168 hours in a week). You will learn about becoming fluent in the gospel, how to use the tool "Fruit to Root", how to use Discovery Bible Studies, discover your gifts, passion and calling and utilizing the Breathe and B.L.E.S.S. rhythm.
All of us are Jesus' ambassadors on this earth. This is the "all skate" portion of our journey. We want to help you in that.
Our goal at the end is for you to begin living on mission in your neighborhood or network of relationships. We hope that several missional communities will emerge from our time together.
